Interpret the pathology and
untangle tangled threads

Using gain- and loss-of-function models, we have elucidated the molecular mechanisms by which cellular homeostasis is maintained in response to metabolic stress, cancer, or neurohormonal dysregulation. We have employed several mouse lines with genetic alterations that allow in-depth analyses through multi-omics approaches.
We willingly encourage young talent to join our laboratory and conduct research with us. We enthusiastically train our lab members to guide them and help develop their careers.

Our university has the tuition waiver program for international PhD students.We also have courses held in the evening to support students who work during the daytime.
